Who Is OCIA For?
Everyone’s journey is different. The OCIA is for adults who:
- Have never been baptized as Christians, or
- Have been baptized in other Christian traditions and are now interested in the Catholic faith, or
- Have been baptized Catholic, but never received further sacraments of initiation.
- Are confirmed Catholics but would like to learn more about their faith.
More to come later…
Allison Kemble and Greg Stowers received their sacraments of initiation during Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday night. Please keep them and their families in your prayers.
Allison Kemble is the wife of Colin Kemble and mother of Evelyn and Vivian Kemble. Her family moved to Centralia in 2013 and has been attending Mass at Holy Spirit ever since. Allison’s husband is a long-time Catholic, and her daughters were baptized in 2020. Through the grace of God and the welcoming spirit of our parish, Allison made the decision to join the Church herself.
Greg Stowers is married to his wonderful wife Kara Stowers (in his own words, folks!). They have four children: Breelle, Garon, Gavin, and Brycelyn Stowers. Greg was born and raised in Centralia but moved away in 2000. In 2011, he and his family returned. His wife was raised Catholic, and now the rest of the family has made the transition into Catholicism together.
